- July 2009 : NTI hosts second BPUG Workshop at University of Chester

Following the success of our 'PRINCE2:2009 and MSP' BPUG workshop last year, the NTI will be hosting a workshop on P3O (Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices)at the University of Chester on Wednesday, 1st July 2009. The event will also include an update on the forthcoming launch of PRINCE2:2009.
Facilitators: Steve Boronksi (Remarc Group P3O Lead Trainer), and Phil Stephensen-Payne (Remarc Group PRINCE2 Lead Trainer)
Synopsis: The day will focus on OGC's new guidance for Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O), and will include a brief session at the end of the day to talk about the differences (and continuity) between PRINCE2:2005 and PRINCE2:2009.
Objective: To have those delegates that arrive with current issues on the topic to leave with practical suggestions/tools that will help take their organisation forward.
Venue, Cost and Contact Details: Exact details to be confirmed, but it is expected that the workshop will run from 10am to 4:30pm, and cost £50 + VAT (or free of charge to BPUG members and University of Chester staff), inclusive of buffet lunch and refreshments. - NTI gains M_o_R Accredited Training Organisation Status

The NTI is delighted to announce that after a rigorous process of inspection by APMG, we have recently been awarded full ATO status for Management of Risk (M_o_R) training, in addition to our existing ATO status for PRINCE2 Project Management.
We are now also pleased to offer the opportunity to study up to Foundation Level in a variety of OGC Best Practice qualifications, as well as other topics, using fully-accredited computer-based training packages. As well as PRINCE2 and M_o_R, we offer this facility for:-

The NTI now owns property in the virtual world Second Life. We are currently building our online HQ - teleport from here to have a look around! (If you are not already as Second Life user, you will need to sign up and install software.)
This marks the beginning of a new strand of NTI activity connected with Web2 and Web Science, which will lead to the development of new courses - both commercial and academic - over the next 12 to 24 months.
